Bear Lake is home to all the family fun you can imagine. And Waterdance is at the heart of all the fun. Whether you want to relax at the beach while the kids play in the shallows, explore a gorgeous cave, go wake surfing or Tarzan swing into a mountain lake, you’ll find it here.
Beach Access
We’ve got two free public beach accesses within a short walk of Waterdance. Here are some of our favorite beaches including the ones right here in Garden City.
Garden City Park Beach
5 minute walk from Waterdance. Park and boardwalk to the beach. Good quick beach option close to home.
Garden City Public Beach
The closest beach access to Waterdance. Only 2 blocks east! Parking available if you don't want to walk.
North Beach Bear Lake Park
Great two-mile long beach with a gradually sloped, sandy lake bottom to provide an enormous swimming area.
Boat and Outdoor Equipment Rentals
Throw up a wake and go wakeboarding, zip across the lake on jet skis or try something new like E-foils on the water or side by sides on land. Coming in winter? Schedule time for snowmobiling. You won’t regret it.

Zipz
Easygoing quick-serve outpost serving classic hot dogs, salads, shakes & sweet frozen drinks.
Ruca's
Serves breakfast, coffee, espresso, salads, and sandwiches.
Summit Pizza
Delicious pizza loaded with fresh and quality ingredients. Dough and sauce are made from scratch in-store daily.
Cody's
Airy eatery with an automobile theme, serving up burgers, salads, and quesadillas, plus breakfast.

Bear Trapper
A full-service, family-friendly restaurant offering pasta, chicken, seafood, burgers, and sandwiches.

Burger Barn
Located centrally in Garden City within walking distance. Offers burgers, fries, and shakes.
Firehouse Pizza
Stone-fired pizzas with pasta, sandwich, and salad options, as well as "monster" pizzas for larger groups.

Bloomington Lake
Experience this 2.6-km out-and-back trail near Bloomington, Idaho. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 39 min.
